Q
What does a bail bondsman do?
AA bail bondsman provides a form of bail payment to a detainment facility on a defendant’s behalf.
When a defendant uses a bail bond agency, they pay the agent a fee and the agent acts as a surety.
Q
How much do you charge?
AThere are no set rates for a bond payment. We work off of percentages of the bond amount set by a
judge. The fee will vary from case to case and we always do our best to try to work within our client’s Budget.
Q
Do I have to pay the bond all at once?
AIn some cases, we can work off of a smaller percentage rate as a form of a “down payment” and then
do a payment plan to pay out the rest of the bond. On many occasions, this will require someone to cosign for the client. We do sometimes offer a discounted rate for bonds paid in full, though.
Q
Do I have to check-in?
AWe require both phone and physical check-ins from our clients. The schedule and frequency depends
on each case and will be explained in detail when you are signing your bond paperwork.
Q
I just completed my court and my case is finished. What’s next?
AIf your balance is paid in full with us, you are officially “off bond” as soon as your court case is
finalized and are no longer required to check-in. If there is still a balance owed, however, you will still be required to pay the said balance in full.
